We attach particular importance to the protection of your personal data. Your data are therefore processed solely on the basis of the applicable legal provisions (including GDPR). This Privacy Policy contains information about the most important aspects of data processing on our website and the processes executed when performing our contracts.

Cookies

Our website uses so-called ‘cookies’. These are small text files that are stored on your terminal device with the aid of your browser. They do not cause any damage.

We use cookies to make our services user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them. These enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit.

If you wish to prevent this, you can configure your browser to inform you that cookies have been sent so that you can accept or refuse them as applicable.

Deactivating cookies may impair the functioning of our website.

Web analysis

Our website uses functions provided by Google Analytics web analysis service. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

These functions use cookies to analyse how visitors use the website. The information generated about your use of this website is usually sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

Furthermore, you can prevent the data regarding your website use generated by the cookie (including your IP address) from being collected and sent to Google and processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser add-on available at the following link.

You will find more information about how Google Analytics handles user data in Google’s privacy policy.

Your IP address is collected but then immediately pseudonymised (e.g. by erasing the last 8 bits). This data can then only be used to obtain information about your approximate location.

The data are processed on the basis of the legal provisions set out in section 96 para. 3 TKG and in Art. 6 par. 1a (consent) and/or 1f (legitimate interest) GDPR.

We concluded a corresponding contract data processing agreement with the provider on 26 March 2018.

Our legitimate interest within the meaning of GDPR is the improvement of our services and web presence. Since we attach great importance to our users’ privacy, the user data collected are pseudonymised.

The website provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser sends to us automatically. This information encompasses:

  • your browser type and browser version
  • the operating system you are using
  • the referrer URL
  • the host name of the accessing computer
  • the time of the server request

These data cannot be associated with specific persons. These data are not merged with data from other sources. We reserve the right to review these data retrospectively if we have reason to believe that they have been used unlawfully.

If you use the comment function on this website, information regarding the time at which you posted the comment, your e-mail address, and – if your comment is not anonymous – your chosen user name will be stored along with the comment itself.

SSL encryption

This website uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect any confidential data you transmit to us, e.g. the queries you send to us as the website operator. Encrypted connections can be recognized from the use of “https://” rather than “http://” in the address line and the lock symbol in the browser line.

When SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Our website offers you the option of subscribing to our newsletter. For this, we require your e-mail address and a declaration that you consent to the delivery of the newsletter.

As soon as you register for the newsletter, we will send you an e-mail containing a link which you can click on to confirm your registration.

You can cancel your newsletter subscription at any time. Please send your cancellation to the following e-mail address: info[at]cp-pro.de. We will then immediately delete the data collected from you in connection with the delivery of the newsletter.

You have the right to object to the use of your data for direct advertising purposes at any time. Furthermore, you have to right to obtain information from us concerning which of your data we have stored.
